One of the most famous breweries in all of Colombia is Cervecería BBC, it was founded in 2002 and has more than thirty-five branches in Bogotá.
We were there with our friend Pablo who took us to eat tacos made by his friend Juan, who is a Mexican street food chef in Bogota.
This branch of BBC is located in the Parkway area, a very nice area of the city, also very active. Upon arrival we were offered their specialties, Monserratte Roja, BBC lager, Candelaria classic.
These were the ones they had available in this pub, however, when you go to another branch you can get other types. We chose a pitcher of BBC lager, which is a blonde type, smooth and refreshing.
My husband usually drinks some stronger beers, but he had to share with me that I always order the milder ones.
As these are craft beers, they are quite strong, so I order the lighter beers to enjoy them and not overdo it.
We ordered some birria taquitos, which is lamb meat, they can also be made with mutton, but Juan explained that here it is easier to make them with lamb. Accompanied with pickled gherkins.
Also four cochinita pibil tacos with pineapple, onion and cilantro. These are without a doubt my favorites, I love them.
Here we stayed enjoying all afternoon, then we tasted a cevichito for everyone, delicious. Another Peruvian-Venezuelan cook was in the other kitchen, he offered it to us and it was delicious.
This space is very nice, the truth is that Bogota is a very diverse city, full of international flavors and very dear people.
It's good that we keep adding other countries.
