Sukhdev da dhaba has turned into a hot spot eating joints for many chicken lover in northern india. What began as a small food points to cater traveller requirement has now turned into a popular hang out zone for young youths. People from delhi ncr and far flung areas head out to the dhaba to enjoy week3nd food. There were many stories related with dhabas. Dhabas are roadside restaurants in India that are known for their simple, wholesome, and flavorful food. Last night I too hamged out at one such Dhaba to enjoy some food.

They are known for their pocket-friendly food. Although these places are now more of a drinkers paradise. The one I stopped was quite deserted at middle of night. While it has a small kitchen and a building to go by they always have a small pan and cigarette shop outside.

As it was pretty late at night, and we were craving for food, we avoided non-vegetarian food. We ordered some masala Lentils and chapati along with potato fry. Tye food were served quickly, and we were not made to wait.
Dhabas can be a place of refuge for stranded travelers, providing food and shelter in difficult weather conditions. We quickly wrapped our dinner and went ahead. These mini restaurant set alongbtye road side alwsys proves boon to night traveller. Dhabas can be profitable businesses because they have low inventory costs and high profit margins.
