Hello Hivers! How's everyone doing? I hope your days are going well. I'm excited to share another post with you all today. It’s been a few days since my last post, and I just want to share some little moments that made my week feel light and happy. Nothing too fancy, just simple things that made me smile and reminded me to slow down and appreciate everyday life.
Lately, I’ve been trying to be more active, so I started my mornings with a short walk. On some days, I even reached 8,000 steps! It feels refreshing to walk early, breathe in the cool air, and see the neighborhood slowly waking up. The sound of birds, the smell of freshly brewed coffee from nearby houses, and the calm vibe of the morning always help clear my thoughts before the day gets busy.

After walking, I usually spend time playing with the kiddos Q and Jeus. They’re always full of energy and laughter. We play silly games, and I love seeing how happy and carefree they are. Sometimes I wish I had their endless energy! Being around them always reminds me of what’s really important to have fun and enjoy the moment.

Then one evening, I went out with my aunt and cousin for dinner at The Bang Café in Taytay, Rizal. It’s a cozy place where you can just relax and talk about life. We spent the evening catching up, sharing stories about work, family, and the little challenges that come with growing up. There’s something comforting about talking with family no matter how long it’s been, the connection always feels the same.

After we ate, we didn’t go home right away. We decided to take a short walk around the old market area, which was still lively even at night. There were so many food stalls and carts lined up the smell of grilled food and street snacks filled the air. We couldn’t resist trying a few! 😋

First, we bought some crispy chicken skin, freshly cooked and still warm. It was so good crunchy, flavorful, and a little bit addicting! I actually forgot to take photos because we were all too busy enjoying it. 😂 Then we found a small stall selling real potato fries, thick, soft inside but crispy outside. It reminded me of simple street food moments from childhood.

We walked around a bit more, laughed, talked, and just enjoyed the night breeze. It wasn’t anything grand or planned, but those small walks, shared snacks, and simple talks made the night special. After that, we headed home with happy hearts and full tummies.
When I look back at these little moments the morning walks, the laughter with the kids, the evening with my family I realize that these are the things that make life beautiful. They may not look big or important, but they fill our days with warmth and meaning.
I’m grateful for simple days like these. Sometimes all we need is a good walk, good food, and good company to remind us how blessed we really are.
Thank you for reading my weekend story! Wishing everyone a peaceful week ahead. See you on my next post Hivers!
