I am actually barely on time for #WeekendExperiences by @galenkp! It may be a little late for you but the post can be found at https://hive.blog/hive-168869/@galenkp/weekend-engagement-topics-week-298 if you want to play along and curate some fun stuff. I also love #SublimeSunday (inspired by @c0ff33a) and #BeautifulSunday (initiated by @ace108) with no time limits and are equally as fun to follow.
This weekend, I am enjoying the ass end of winter, taking in some comedy, and hitting the big city for some hockey and beer!

First things first! The Prompt!
Do you ever feel disappointed in yourself and if so why? Also, how could you rectify that situation?
Not sure if it is my generation or catholic upbringing but I would say constantly. Disappointed with the impact in many areas I have not made yet and for the overall results of my efforts. There is too much at stake in life to settle so I am okay with it and it doesn't effect my will to succeed. What I plan to do to rectify is to never stop building, learning and applying myself so that I can win the marathon and those who depend on me will as well.

Now Back to the Weekend
This was a long week for me business and otherwise so I was due for a weekend. Good news is the weather was clear but still very wintery and my weekend travels brought me to the dog park a couple times. Not an untouched square foot of snow in that place as the dogs love to cover plenty of ground.

After that, we had another brewing session. This time, taking a nice amber off fermentation for cold crashing, and a new amber for the fermenter to brew for a couple weeks. We also tried a variation on the amber in the smaller brewer which might turn out a little darker and stronger than our standard 5% variety. We will know in a couple weeks!

On the Town
I hit the town with my better half and a bunch of friends and attended a comedy show! I don't do that enough and enjoyed the evening of laughs capped off by half price appetizers at a local sports pub!

Hitting the Road
The call came from the big city that my presence was needed. So, I jumped in the car and hit the highway for a little winter road trip.

winter drones on but the hockey season is coming to an end in March, So, I joined the guys for the last regular season (ended in a tie and I got an assist) and I am planning to play outdoors again tomorrow night. March is going to be all about the end of winter, plenty of musical trips to the big city, and preparation for plenty of playoff hockey in April!
On the way back home, I saw the OPEN sign on my favourite brewery from the highway and had to stop in.

Looks like I am not the only one with a road trip and some tasty treats to bring home. Muggsy hit a hot sauce festival and brought home a few of his faves to share later this week. Gonna be a hot night and will only hurt twice.\
That is about it for my weekend! Thanks for joining me!
