While it is true that today there are plenty of tools that are very useful and make our lives easier, especially in the world of baking and cooking in general, many times we do not get that tool that we need so much to do our magic, then is when we have to get the best of us by activating the most powerful tools we have, social networks and creativity.
I am convinced that those of us who love this whole world of cooking, are people who do not give up easily, persevering to the limit. Any obstacle becomes an opportunity to learn something new and grow, giving it our emblematic mark.
In this sense, one of the cakes I made this week was Stitch themed and the decoration of this cake had some fondant wild flowers made with a mold. The truth is that when I accepted the order I thought I could get a mold similar to the flowers that had the cake in the reference image. But, unfortunately, no matter how hard I looked in all the baking stores in town, I couldn't find it. So I had to apply plan B, to look for ways to see how to make those flowers without the need of a mold.

You will need the following materials:
Fondant. I used 4 gms for each flower. If you want them smaller you can use less gms.
2 fondant modeling sticks. One thick and one thinner. You can also use skewers.
Scalpel.
Scissors.
Small edible pearls (Optional).
Recommendation
Flowers are beautiful, but not perfect and that's what makes them so genuine, so don't strive for perfection, because some petals will always be bigger than others.

En este sentido, una de las tortas que hice esta semana era con temática de Stitch y la decoración de esta torta tenía unas flores silvestre en fondant hechas con molde. La verdad es que cuando acepté el pedido pensé que podía conseguir un molde parecido al de las flores que tenía la torta en la imagen de referencia. Pero, lamentablemente por más que busqué en todas las tiendas de repostería de la ciudad, no lo encontré. Así que me tocó aplicar el plan B, buscar las maneras de ver cómo hacer esas flores sin necesidad de un molde.

¡Así que ponte tu delantal y acompáñame a mi Cocina, "Zu cocina"!
Vas a necesitar los siguientes materiales:
Fondant. Usé 4 gms para cada flor. Si las quieres más pequeñas puedes usar menos gramos.
2 palitos para modelar fondant. Uno grueso y otro más delgado. También puedes usar unas brochetas.
Bisturí.
Tijeras.
Perlas pequeñas comestibles (Opcional).
Recomendación
Las flores son hermosas, más no perfectas y eso es lo que las hace tan genuinas, así que no te afanes en la perfección, pues algunos pétalos siempre van a quedar más grandes que otros.
