I have talked and will continue to do so in a section of the blog about animals that are harmful to the garden, but there are also many animals that are beneficial to the garden. These are the predators that help us control pests in the most efficient and clean way possible. Our job will be to attract them and respect them so that they can help us get the best harvests.

The Triton, and I am referring to the animal, not to the Greek myth so mistreated by Hollywood movies. This small amphibian of small size is possibly one of the most beautiful animals, or at least that is how it seems to me. When I was a child and I went to play in the stream with my friends, we loved to look for these creatures to observe them. Nowadays it is much more difficult to find them since they are very sensitive to pollution.
Luckily, they are also capable of living in ponds that are sometimes isolated and have an optimal water quality. I don't have any newts in my pond, they have never appeared and I cannot introduce them since they are protected animals. But if by chance one appears near your garden, then you are in luck because in addition to admiring their beauty, these small creatures are great insectivores and will do you a great favor.
Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
