Today I'm not going to write about my garden or about those wonderful animals that help me take care of it. Today is one of those days where it's cold but not too cold, there's fog but you can see something, it's raining but you hardly get wet if you go outside. One of those days where people say it's so bad that you don't feel like going outside.

But I love these days, they make me happy. I prepare my hot chocolate and start working at home. I've left the kids at school. The noises and laughter will take a few hours to return to my life. It's a time to relax, to be calm and immerse myself in my thoughts.
I look out the window and see the birds in the mist doing their thing as if it were a normal day. I realize how lucky we humans are to be able to be protected and warm on a day like this.
