Hello, everyone!
Rice is my favorite delicacy and it can be cooked differently. This is why I want to talk about it.
I always feel euphoric whenever I eat rice. Rice is a delicious delicacy that I enjoy the most, and it is one of the most popular foods in the world. The best part of cooking this delicacy involves the sensory experience. Therefore, experiencing this moment brings joy, happiness, and excitement to my brain.
I fondly remember how we returned home from school, I could perceive the aroma of rice cooked by my mother from the room. Even if I was unhappy, tired, and hungry, just sensing the aroma made me happy and excited for the meal. I believe that the sweet aroma of any food contributes to its taste.

I particularly enjoy the sensory aspects of my favorite dish, which I will discuss in a sequential order.
The sensory aspect
Taste
The taste of my favorite food can evoke a strong positive response; the savory sweetness and flavors can have a significant impact. I remember the day I cooked pepper soup rice for my mother when she was in her postpartum phase. I cooked it very early in the morning with goat meat. After cooking, my mom tasted the food and found it to be different from her usual preparation and also different from my previous attempts. The rice and pepper soup were rich, and I found myself sitting on the floor, eating it over and over again. I asked her if she wanted to eat some more, and she said it was incredibly delicious. I laughed and told her that the food couldn't control her; it was just too delicious.
Scent/Aroma
The aroma of rice is always enticing and plays a crucial role in determining the taste of the food. If the aroma is unusual, then the food will be odd. The aroma of the cooked pepper soup rice for my mom filled the house, almost luring unknown people inside.
Texture
The texture of the rice is very important as it significantly contributes to the overall enjoyment of the rice. I prefer my rice to be fluffy and not clumpy. Some people prefer the texture to be creamy, others prefer it chewy or crunchy.
Rice in Culinary Uses
Rice is used in various culinary dishes all over the world.
MTN Rice
We are all familiar with how MTN rice is cooked in Africa. It is made with fish, crayfish, red oil, maggi, salt, and vegetables. It is not fried or toasted and has a distinct taste and aroma.
Rice and Stew

This is a common dish, especially for older children. I must admit, I enjoy it as well. The stew or sauce is always rich when cooked with goat meat. A good choice of tomatoes is highly recommended.
Jollof Rice
Similar to MTN rice, but mixed with tomatoes.
Pepper Soup
This dish is always sweet, and the flavor is consistently stunning. I do cook my pepper soup either with fish or goat meat. Yummy yummy.
Rice and Soup
I like eating white rice and okra soup.
These are what I can share with you about my favorite delicacy.
Thank you for reading through.
