Building Some Halo Sets

in Toys on Hive2 hours ago

It has been a very, very long time since building any of these Halo Mega Bloks sets that have been bagged up in the corner of my office for months.

I finally got cracking with some building, and I'm happy with the results.

This is one of the sets I had semi complete which I have been meaning to build.

Lots of it was in chunks, so I broke it into pieces and got to work rebuilding it.

The tracks are actually pretty cool, and while they were a little confusing to start them off, within a few minutes I had the hang of it.

The next part was the body and turret.

These were fairly easy to build, but there were a few hiccups along the way.

I got it together and am really happy with how it looks.

This is a Halo Wars set, and I think the value of it is somewhere around the €70 - €80 mark.

Tell you what, screw Crypto, I've made way better gains flipping these sets.

I picked this badass Rocket Hog up for €10 and I was delighted to build it and see that all of the pieces were present.

It's a cool little thing, and was handy enough to build.

Only problem was that there are no figures present, but it's not too much of a big deal because I have a few bags of the little bastards, so I think I'll let the buyer choose two figures from the collection.

Value on this is somewhere around €40 with no figures, but I think I might be able to get €60+ if I include a few with it. We'll see though.

It comes with its box, manual, and the stickers are in there too, still on the sheet.

With everything like that I reckon it'll sell fairly quick, but as I always say, it doesn't matter if it's a fast sale or a slow sale, I have the space to store this stuff (well... actually I don't, but still.)

Sorry about the dark picture.

I need to put to replace the light fitting.

But, yeah, here is the collection, not including the bags of unfinished sets and figures.

The sets actually briefly invaded the game shelf for a bit, luckily I was able to clear some space for them though and put them with the rest of the stuff.

I have Countdown, the UNSC Firebase, The Spirit Dropship, a Shortsword, a bunch more Warthogs, a Gremlin, and a few other sets and ships to build and put up here.

I'm thinking of clearing off the games shelf for now so I can continue the builds, and then upload a bunch of these in one go.

It would be nice to reclaim some space, but I have actually become kind of attached to these.
