I wish not to post here regularly, however thinking about how my life currently is, I believe I will be a regular member of Mildly Infuriating community lol.
So a few days ago I bought a burger king. This was not an online delivery order, I asked my mother to buy it and took it home. Initially I had planned to post this burger on Asean Hive Community, but due to some displeasure experience I had from it, It stayed on draft.
I was a fan of burgers, any burgers should be fine for me. However that day I decided to get a burger king which was not a cheap one. Not an expensive one because I could name 5-6 places that sold burger way more pricy above Burger King. There were two things made me very upset and Today I would share it here on this community.
I chose Burger King specifically to get a Whopper. I did not came to the place myself, and my mom was not a smart woman in picking good fast food. When the burger came, and I started to unwrapped it, I saw something that worried me from the start.
The name of Cheese Whooper Jr. Since when they had this "JUNIOR" name on it, what I knew whopper was whopper
Taaaa Raaa , here it was... Damn it was so small, It would not make me full at all. I know some people will think smartly, and say "it's your fault bro, you do not ask for the big one"...
This is what written in their menu, in their website, in online food delivery menu. Whopper is whopper. I know there are Boss Whopper, Whopper XL, and Whopper Jr, but there is a whopper that is whopper.
That's the first one... Size, now we get into the second one.
Where was the veggie? no tomato, no lettuce, no spring onion... it was all creamy mushroom inside the bun. I knew I should not complain to my mom and I decided to complain to the outlet. By phone lol.
They proudly said that it was not a mistake. They had this menu for more than a year go, and it was their popular menu. lol I knew well they did not sell good and tried to compete against Carls Junior knowing that Carls Portobello mushroom was selling well that year. Maybe one of their best seller.
They said with proud that it was a good selection based on what my mother asked them. The price was the same, between 84.000 rupiah and 85.000 did not have difference. Well to be honest:
- I did not want those fries and coke
- I wanted to get fresh burger, which had some veggie, tomato and onion with smokey flavor.
They were lucky it was by phone, and it was a good lesson to me, and to other people in Indonesia... Do not complain by phone, come there, show your presence, and make them pee in their pants... that's how it works here.
I will try to be neutral here. The burger did not taste bad despite the presentation or visual was far different from the image they had lol. About size, before you think it is due to "JUNIOR" size thing... it did get smaller. Later that day my bro came and said he did not want to eat "JUNIOR" anymore due to the size that kept shrinking.
Anyway it is hard to appreciate some food if you have it with bad mood. Especially that bad mood came from some staffs who were talking out of their hat.
