Thank you @ph1102 for alerting me that my photos had been crushed and didn't appear in my post. It was the @strava2hive connection and it took more than two and 1/2 hours of arm wrestling to correct the content mangling. The photos are now as they should be and the mess-up graphics from Strava are gone.
I think I have to break the connection between that integration and my Hive account. It had been malfunctioning for a while, but it "went to 11" this time around.
I appreciate your catching it so I could do my best to save the post, especially since you so kindly manually curated it. 🥰
