RE: Breaking the Kitchen Stereotypes

in HiveGhana23 days ago

A publication full of many truths, but that not everyone is able to assume.
In my house, mom always did almost everything, although dad was patient with things, he didn't ask or demand anything. I remember my grandmother would get stressed if he arrived and the food wasn't ready: “Ysabel, he's going to be upset,” she would tell my mom.
Now I have 2 boys and I try to instill in them about helping out at home. They know how to do things, but they don't do them to bother. I just hope that as adults they will apply them for their own good.

That’s a great move there with your kids. Hopefully when they’re older, they’d put them to use.
