I’m a food lover and I love to eat well, especially when I’m hungry. Also, I’m Ghanaian and so obviously, I’d love my local dishes very much. Just today, I was telling a friend that for we Ghanaians, we don’t have anything like English breakfast. Our breakfast is either waakye, kenkey or even banku and we even ended up laughing about it.
Speaking of airplane food, from my experiences I’d say how good the food tastes actually depends on the airline. My first airplane food was with Ethiopian airlines and I wouldn’t say I really enjoyed the food. In Ghana, we love spicy foods but the food I had on the plane was a bit different from what I was used to back at home. The rice tasted different and even the stew and meat also. The spices weren’t as spicy as I thought they would be. And so I ended up not even having the food. But for their snacks and beverages, I had a lot to fill my belly.😅
However , I’ve also had meals on my trips with other airlines and I’d like to say with my full chest that KLM is the GOAT when it comes to airplane food. Man, their jollof was jollofing. This want Nigerian jollof but proper Ghanaian jollof. I know my Nigerian brother @fashtioluwa would try to argue but this flight was from Ghana so rest my dear.😂
One thing I love about catching flights aside the adventure is exploring foods from different parts of the world. It makes me happy. 😅 What’s your airplane food experience?
