Marriage is defined as the union between a man and a woman. The union in marriage is defined as when the man and the woman come from different families and later become one.some marriage have helped many peoples because they have chosen the right path and the right person while some have destroyed some people's lives.
Gone are the days of till death do us apart. this is a great speech that allows the couple to realize that they have become one flesh and one family. the word is is a vital word as it separate the bride and the groom from their families. it means that if neither of them died, they are not leaving each of at any situation or circumstances of their life,unless there is a crisis that threatens either the husband or the wife's life.
Due to marriage, things have to change in the life of bf men and women, especially the man who is known as the head of the family. the first thing changes in men is responsibility. if a man lack responsibilities on his wife and children, it is a fail man that has no value to the family.
Responsibility of a man involved many aspects such as protecting the family, directing and controlling family members. This is a paramount task for all man who is ready to marry.
Since the concept of marriage has evolved and become a cultural norm for all humans. the Bible also emphasize that every man has to pay a bride price for his wife before they become one and also the concept of marriage has also shifted towards duty to love.
There was a called "Mr always at work" But his real name is Mr Johnson in the community. This man cherished his work so much that he never attended any parties, even though he was invited. he preferred enjoying alone in his company. but due to his age and pressure from his mother, he had to get married as soon as possible. In his mind, he thought of marrying a young lady who was calm and could take care of his children.
Eight month later, he found a pretty lady passing by. he approached her and expressed his intentions, love at first sight, finally the lady who is also desperate to find any toaster also accepted his proposal, they both introduced themselves to their parent. the wedding date was set at the grandest venue in the community.
After the marriage, they both lived happily, but the man always came home late. his wife couldn't endure his attitude and tried to advise him, but he didn't change. Eventually, the happiness in the house gradually turned into sorrows, especially after she gave birth to twins, she was unable to endure anymore, she packed her belongings and her children and left without informing him.
when Mr Johnson returned home and found the door open, he was surprised. he enter the house and call his wife name, darling !!!! and no one was there to answer him.
he couldn't believe his eye when he discovered a letter on the dining table written by his wife. he read it in his mind,
" I wouldn't be able to live this kind of life with you.since you can't spend time with me, I have to leave you. Bye !'
Mr Johnson was devastated, realizing his wife was not happy with his life style. he wept bitterly and unable to sleep alone and desperately tried calling her but to no avail. he couldn't even bring himself to eat breakfast and began searching for his wife and child, continuously calling and pleading in his mind. he searched for almost two weeks but couldn't see his family. what a miserable life of me, he couldn't stand the chance of seeing his family back.
He continues calling his wife, and she finally picked up her phone, and crying, Mr Johnson was ashamed of himself and promised to change his attitude and she returned home. they were happy to see each other again and hugged. this incident serves as lesson for those who want to live their life like Mr Johnson; your wife need your attention. This is how Mr Johnson changed his mindset and his habit of coming late.
