For me, genuinely saying sorry when I'm wrong is never hard, but I sometimes wonder why some can't just apologize when they are wrong. Reading your post now gives me such insights as to why. And you are right, things are easier if we just come forward and genuinely apologize for our mistakes.

Yeah, I didn't realize that early enough. Maybe it had to do with the way we just forgive without expecting sorry in our home, not so good I say.
