Hello friends, today I have another story about the Songkran Festival at Wat Khanon Nang Yai to tell you all today and there are many more days that I want to tell stories from different perspectives. I am proud to be a part of the event organized by the temple, even though it is only a small part of the whole story because Wat Khanon Nang Yai is a temple that has received support from the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, which has preserved ancient cultures and passed them on to future generations.

Wat Khanon Nang Yai is trying to apply for world heritage, so it has collaborated with international cultures. Every Songkran, there are many tourists from various provinces, and the community has cooperated as a good host by presenting various traditions for tourists to see, such as the culture of clothing, food, and games.

In particular, food is very diverse, and local people in the community come to help the temple to welcome tourists from far away. When they come to see the event, they can eat various flavors of food at inexpensive prices, starting from ten baht and mostly twenty baht. All the money is given to the temple to be used for organizing the event, such as water, electricity, and various labor costs. The temple and the community therefore rely on each other in a constructive way.
