Every Thursday and Saturday, I try to spend some personal quality time to avoid stress temporarily and recalibrate my strategies. That’s why I told myself that I wouldn’t write scripts or edit videos today, since it felt stressful. I also told myself that I would clean my room, watch Netflix, and write in my journal. Let’s see if I followed it. Anyway, let’s get started.
Morning

After I woke up, I failed to keep my promise to clean my room. Instead of doing the chore, I just watched TikTok videos. Using that app is good since it’s one of my ways to earn. However, it becomes unhealthy when it distracts me from the things I should be working on. After realizing this, I went outside to eat my breakfast and brush teeth afterwards. Then, I went on my laptop to write a short post and check if there were any available surveys. Afterward, I logged into my Netflix account and watched a series. Since my iPad was already low on battery and I needed it fully charged for later, I charged it. While it was charging, I read some content here and proceeded to write my thoughts in my journal.
Afternoon

Here is our leftover salad from New Year, which we ate for lunch. After eating, I immediately proceeded to edit my captions on TikTok. I noticed that two of my videos might trigger a violation, so I needed to be cautious. While watching a series, I continued writing in my journal about my schedule, planned purchases for promotional content, and a project. I also started writing my blog after I finished cropping the audio that I’m going to edit tomorrow for my YouTube account.

While watching, my mother invited us to eat spaghetti for snacks. She told us that the sauce had been in the freezer since New Year, leading her to cook it. That’s what I ate while streaming a Netflix series. I paired the classic Pinoy staple with Lipton Tea, which I don’t really like the taste of. I still drank it anyway, as my mother told me to. Her reason was that it might expire, and my uncle wouldn’t give her another one. As the scenes from the series became more intense, I took a short break by reading a book. I realized that I couldn’t return to streaming anymore since I still needed to take a bath and attend church.
Night

After we arrived at church, we ate spaghetti again. I also consumed some salad from New Year as dessert. We didn’t eat rice since it’s already a form of carbohydrates. If you ask me, consuming food even after more than a week isn’t bad, as long as it’s properly stored. Of course, you need to refrigerate, freeze, or chill it. Both the spaghetti sauce and fruit salad were kept in the freezer. This assured me that they were still edible. It felt refreshing to have this kind of day, especially since I’m going to grind again the next day.
