heading towards office
I woke up quite early in the morning. Winter nights are long, so even if I sleep late, I still manage to get proper rest. After getting up, I performed ablution and went to the mosque for prayers. When I finished praying and making my supplications, I came back home and slipped into bed again to escape the sharp winter cold. I got up once more at breakfast time, freshened up, ate quickly, got ready, and then left for the office.
heading back to my place
On the way, I saw a few people walking along the road where no transport is available, so I offered them a lift and dropped them at their stops. I usually do this whenever I travel on that route. I reached the office exactly at 10 o’clock. My colleague was already there waiting for me. As soon as I arrived, he switched on the electric heater, and both of us sat down and got busy with our work. Since he had to leave early that afternoon, we focused fully and finished our target within the remaining time.
During our work, a nearby family who knows my colleague sent us tea. Because of the cold weather, that cup of tea felt especially warm and comforting. Around 2:30 in the afternoon, I left for home and chose a shortcut. While driving over a higher stretch of road, I saw stunning cloud patterns spreading across the sky. The scene was so beautiful that I couldn’t resist clicking a few photos, even while on the move.
Having dinner together
Gajar Halwa in preparation
After reaching home, I rested for a while and then took a short nap. Later, I spent some time reading. In the evening, around 6 PM, I went to the local market to buy a few things and also picked up the ingredients for Gajar ka Halwa — carrots, milk, ghee, sugar, and other dairy items. When I got back, I handed everything over to my brother, and she started preparing it. It was finally ready late at night, after dinner. The taste was so rich and delicious that it still lingers in my mind. Around 11:30 PM, I went to bed and ended my day.
