Apparently I haven't read any Hive posts for 5 days. That always puzzles me; wasn't I just on here yesterday? No, there have been interesting grandkid interruptions, followed by catch-up-at-home days, plus the distractions of fires and smoke. I, too, long for the smoke-free days of yore. I don't really remember how many years ago it was that Smoke Season became a Thing. Maybe 15-20 years ago? I picked raspberries yesterday while wearing an N 95 mask. It's hard to breathe through those, but at least I am not coughing and choking. I have found that once the AQI goes above about 115 I run into difficulties breathing outdoors. Anyway, the raspberries are still producing more than I had expected, so more are going into my freezer, too. I should do a post about summer baking. We'll see.
