A veces el plan perfecto no sale como lo imaginamos, pero igual termina regalándonos recuerdos increíbles.
Celebrar nuestro segundo aniversario de matrimonio no salió exactamente como lo habíamos planeado, pero gracias a un cambio de rumbo, dos buenos amigos y unos ricos perros calientes, terminó siendo una noche especial que vale la pena contar.
Cuando el plan perfecto empieza con sueño y un desayuno sorpresa
La idea original era levantarnos temprano, ir al parque, caminar un rato y disfrutar del día al aire libre para celebrar nuestro segundo aniversario de matrimonio.
La realidad fue otra: nos quedamos dormidos y el plan del parque se cayó por completo.
Aun así, el día comenzó con buena energía porque tuvimos un desayuno sorpresa que nos recordó por qué estábamos celebrando: dos años caminando juntos, con altos y bajos, pero siempre del mismo lado.
De la panadería sin gracia al “¿y si probamos ese lugar nuevo?”
En la tarde, nuestros buenos amigos Addys y Faviana nos invitaron a salir para terminar de celebrar el aniversario.
La primera parada fue una panadería, pero sinceramente no encontramos nada muy atractivo para comer; las opciones no nos llamaban la atención y el ambiente tampoco ayudaba mucho.
En lugar de quedarnos por quedarnos, decidimos levantarnos de la mesa y buscar algo mejor.
Fue entonces cuando recordé un flyer que me habían dado días atrás de un nuevo sitio cercano, una hamburguesería que todavía no conocíamos.
Perros calientes con queso, calabresa y buena compañía
Decidimos probar suerte en ese nuevo lugar y fue una excelente decisión.
Al llegar, nos encontramos con un ambiente tranquilo, bonito y cómodo, de esos sitios donde da gusto sentarse a conversar un rato.
Nos atendieron muy bien y terminamos pidiendo combos de perros calientes especiales con queso y calabresa, que estaban realmente sabrosos.
El lugar tenía todo lo que uno espera cuando sale a compartir: aire acondicionado, wifi y una vibra agradable que invitaba a quedarse sin estar pendiente del reloj.
Entre bocados y risas, el aniversario empezó a sentirse como lo que debía ser: un momento para disfrutar y agradecer.
El nuevo celular de Favi y una noche llena de fotos
Como todo se veía bien —la mesa, la comida, el lugar y las sonrisas— decidimos aprovechar para tomar muchas fotos.
Aquí entró en acción el nuevo celular de Favi, que se convirtió en el fotógrafo oficial de la noche.
Cada rato alguien decía: “¡Tómate una así!”, “Ahora todos juntos”, “Hazle una a los perros calientes”.
Al final terminamos con un montón de recuerdos capturados: la comida, las caras de felicidad, los detalles del sitio y esos pequeños momentos que después uno agradece haber registrado.
Más que una salida, un recordatorio de lo que realmente importa
Si algo nos dejó esta salida de aniversario es la idea de que no hace falta un plan perfecto ni un lugar lujoso para pasarla bien.
Lo que realmente hace especial un día son las personas con las que compartes, las ganas de disfrutar y la actitud de convertir un pequeño cambio de planes en una buena historia.
Nos fuimos a casa contentos y agradecidos: por el aniversario, por el desayuno sorpresa, por los perros calientes con queso y calabresa, por el nuevo sitio que descubrimos y, sobre todo, por tener amigos como Addys y Faviana, que se suman a nuestras celebraciones y las hacen aún mejores.

Celebrating our second wedding anniversary didn’t go exactly as we planned, but thanks to a change of plans, two good friends and some delicious hot dogs, it turned into a special night worth sharing.
When the “perfect plan” starts with oversleeping and a surprise breakfast
The original idea was to wake up early, go to the park, walk around and enjoy the fresh air to celebrate our second anniversary.
Reality, however, was different: we overslept and the park plan completely vanished.
Even so, the day started with good energy because we had a surprise breakfast that reminded us why we were celebrating: two years walking together through ups and downs, always on the same side.
From a boring bakery to “what if we try that new place?”
In the afternoon, our good friends Addys and Faviana invited us to go out and keep celebrating.
Our first stop was a bakery, but honestly, we didn’t find anything very appealing to eat and the atmosphere didn’t help much either.
Instead of staying just for the sake of it, we decided to leave and look for something better.
That was when I remembered a flyer I had received a few days earlier about a new place nearby, a burger joint we hadn’t tried yet.
Hot dogs with cheese, calabresa and the best company
We decided to give that new place a try, and it turned out to be a great decision.
When we arrived, we found a calm, nice and cozy environment, the kind of place where you really feel like sitting down to talk for a while.
The service was great and we ended up ordering special hot dog combos with cheese and calabresa, which were truly tasty.
The place had everything you hope for when you go out to share a good time: air conditioning, wifi and a pleasant vibe that made us forget about the clock.
Between bites and laughter, the anniversary started to feel exactly as it should: a moment to enjoy and be grateful.
Favi’s new phone and a night full of pictures
Since everything looked so good —the table, the food, the place and the smiles— we decided to take lots of pictures.
This is where Favi’s new phone came into play, becoming the official photographer of the night.
Every now and then someone would say: “Take one like this!”, “Now all of us together”, “Take a shot of the hot dogs”.
By the end of the night we had a gallery full of memories: the food, our happy faces, the details of the place and those little moments you’re thankful to have captured.
More than a night out: a reminder of what really matters
This anniversary reminded us that you don’t need a perfect plan or a fancy place to have a good time.
What truly makes a day special are the people you share it with, the desire to enjoy the moment and the attitude to turn a small change of plans into a good story.
We went back home feeling happy and grateful: for the anniversary, for the surprise breakfast, for the hot dogs with cheese and calabresa, for the new place we discovered and, above all, for having friends like Addys and Faviana who join our celebrations and make them even better.
