Recycled food is food, which is no longer sellable but still edible, thrown away by various stores. Usually they "drop" in the evening/night. We collect various kinds of food almost every day, saving hundreds of euros daily. This is completely free. We very rarely spend money on food.
Currently we have many packs of strawberries. Each pack is 250 gram and 500 gram. These packs alone would cost at least €50 Euro. And we have other fruits and vegetables too. Even mushrooms too.
A box of bananas.
A bucket of bananas.
A bucket of apples.
Buckets of salads, carrots and other things.
If we find that any of the fruits and vegetables are no longer edible, then we put then into the compost.
Currently we have a lot of yoghurt too. Yesterday we had more than this. We already ate many from this collection.
There are many other kinds of foods. For example salami, cheese, egg, pasta, etc.
We made a fruit salad with most of the strawberries. We mixed them with apples and with bananas.
There are still a good amount is available from the salad in two bowls in the late afternoon.
Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
