My body was not cooperating, yet I went to the kitchen for his smiling face. With just one egg, a cup of milk, and a little sugar, I quickly made his favorite pudding in 15 minutes. At the end of the day, seeing him enjoy the pudding with satisfaction made all my tiredness vanish in an instant. Mothers really have no holidays, and perhaps it is in these small joys that we find our true fulfillment.
