Fantastic pictures of City Hall there, and yes it is quite special indeed, that tomb of Birger Jarl is empty by the way, he was buried in a Monestary church in Varnhem, at the time the largest and most influential in Sweden, he was the one who founded Stockholm though so I guess that is why they made a golden tomb for him at City Hall too, thanks for sharing.

Oh thanks a lot for the extra information! I did not remember well the history of it just that it should be about someone important obviously. Anyway the building is wonderful, eclectic and very interesting! This is the last post about your city, hope someday I can visit it again, love it!
