Period architecture, openings and reflections [Esp/Eng].

Una vez más en esta genial ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨:  para compartir con todos unas hermosas fotografías que hicimos mientras caminábamos por las calle de mi ciudad; que genial poder acompañar a mi amiga @olgavita en su inigualable ¨ReflectionHuntersContest¨:  esta es una de esas iniciativa que me encanta participar, ya que puedo hacer algo diferente al resto del día de la semana

Once again in this great ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨:  to share with everyone some beautiful photographs that we took while walking through the streets of my city; How great to be able to accompany my friend @olgavita in her unique ¨ReflectionHuntersContest¨:  this is one of those initiatives that I love to participate in, since I can do something different from the rest of the day of the week

A medida que pasan los años me he dado cuenta cuanto ha marcado en mí, las cosas que hacíamos con mi abuelo, es increíble como las cosas sencillas son las que con los años toman relevancia; en aquella época y durante nuestros paseos, no me daba cuenta la importancia que tenían esas cosas para el y como influiría en mi con el paso del tiempo

As the years go by, I have realized how much the things my grandfather and I have done have left their mark on me. It's incredible how the simple things are the ones that become more relevant over the years; at that time and during our walks, I didn't realize how important those things were to him and how they would influence me over time

Algo que hacíamos con frecuencia era ver los edificios de época, y en cada uno de los que llamaba su atención nos deteníamos a observar, si bien veíamos cada detalle de la construcción, prestábamos más atención a las grandes aberturas de las puertas y ventanas, y los hermosos ¨herrajes¨¨forjados¨ a mano como objeto de decoración

Something we did frequently was to look at period buildings, and in each one that caught our attention we stopped to observe, although we saw every detail of the construction, we paid more attention to the large openings of the doors and windows, and the beautiful hand-forged hardware as an object of decoration

Hoy cuando vamos a la ciudad en compañía de mi nieta hacemos exactamente lo mismo, y aunque las viejas construcciones están un poco deteriorada o muy descuidadas, no puedo evitar detenerme y hacer algunas fotografías de las grandes aberturas y sus banderolas, o los hierros oxidados de los ¨herrajes¨ preciosos de época

Today when we go to the city with my granddaughter we do exactly the same, and although the old buildings are a little deteriorated or very neglected, I can't help but stop and take some photographs of the large openings and their banners, or the rusty irons of the beautiful "hardware" of the time

A mi abuelo le encantaba comprar algo para comer y beber mientras nos sentábamos en la costa del rio, algo que ahora lo hacemos con mucha frecuencia, sobre todo cuando necesitamos fotografías de reflejos, aunque muchas veces tenemos que caminar hasta algún comercio para ver un reflejo en su frente vidriado. Me hubiera encantado en aquella época tener una cámara como nuestra¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ y haber inmortalizado esos bellos momentos que pase en compañía de mi abuelo

My grandfather loved to buy something to eat and drink while we sat on the river bank, something we now do with very often, especially when we need photos of reflections, although many times we have to walk to a shop to see a reflection in its glass front. I would have loved to have a camera like our Nikon Coolpix B500 back then and have immortalized those beautiful moments I spent in the company of my grandfather
