I would love to say that someone gave me a generous amount of mangoes. This is a heavenly fruit, I could not buy enough mangoes to make delectable mangoes in syrup. Here we get one mango at a time if they are on special haha. Looks delicious.
Oh, it's a shame they're so expensive where you live. About three hours from my town, there's another, smaller town where almost 100% of the trees are mango trees. That town is called Santa Rita de Manapire, and it's near the Orinoco River. It's amazing to see the sheer quantity and variety of mangoes there, and one of the town's main economic activities is selling mangoes and mango products. They even give away kilos and kilos of mangoes there.
