Hello beautiful people of plant power community welcome to my blog, I brought to you another simple vegan recipe
Beans is one of the most healthy food in my country which is mostly prepared by the eastern part of Nigeria, today i will be using my local wooden fire which can be also called charcoal.
i will be preparing beans and plantain porridge (vegan) recipe join me let's cook.
INGREDIENTS
•1/2 cup of beans
•7 fresh pepper
•2 fresh onion
•1 teaspoon of salt
•5 teaspoon of palmkannel red oil
•6 water
STEP 1
You select your beans first then place it in a clean bowl add water to it , leave it for 10 minutes while bringing out your cooking pot to get ready to cook .
STEP 2
Place your cooking pot untop the fire add anough water to your empty pot because beans takes much time to cook and cover to boil .
STEP 3
Open your cooking pot cover add your beans to your boiling water then cover for 30 minutes
STEP 4
Wash your fresh pepper and onions, I brought out my local hand greater to blend my fresh pepper and onions for faster purpose.
STEP 5
Cut your plantain into your desire sizes, then place it inside your almost cook beans then over for 10 minutes.
STEP 6
Add your blended pepper and onions mixture together with your salt and palm kennel red oil , then cover for 15 minutes
Your food is ready to eat
