I grew up eating Corn Pudding. You can use fresh corn stalks, frozen, or canned corn. Whole kernel is the best. With the canned corn, you have a choice of creamed corn. With the creamed corn, the smooth milky texture is already there for whatever dish you want to combine it with.
The corn pudding can be a dessert (if sugar added) or a side dish with your meat and veggies. A side dish I love is fried corn, adding onions, various colored bell peppers, celery in which you stir fry the aromatics, then add the whole kernel corn. The flavor is a subtle sweet from the release of natural sugars. A day's rest, the flavor intensifies.
Thanks for sharing your corn dish. Take care.
