Hola amigos friends! How are you all doing, my friend's in #plantpower community? Sometimes, all we need is just a simple flavor free meal in its most natural form to Kickstart our day. This recipe was made with basically 3 ingredients, and I thought to share with you my friends after a long time of not posting vegan recipes. This recipe is less time-consuming and, at the same time, filling and tasty.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups rice
6 medium carrots
1 cucumber
Salt
Water
STEP 1
Wash rice thoroughly until the water is clear, and you can see through. Get a clean pot, fill 4 cups of water and set to boil, and add rice when water starts to boil.
STEP 2
Scrape and wash carrots dice into desired shape. Mine was cut into the regular cube shape. Wash cucumbers and remove the seeds. Cut them as well and set it aside.
STEP 3
Add salt to the rice, and after 15 to minutes, depending on the type of rice grain, it should be soft. Add the carrots and cucumbers and stir. Cover for 60 seconds and turn off the heat. It's ready to be enjoyed.
This meal has a natural flavour from the carrots especially, so make sure to use very sweet and juicy carrots when preparing yours. The meal was tasty and very natural, a good #plantbased meal for #vegans to explore. It can be eaten plain or combined with a vegetable sauce of your choice. Mine was eaten plain, while my husband ate his with a vegetable sauce.
I enjoyed the meal as dinner and for sure had a great sleep, feeling light and good.
