It's another great day to share some delicious recipe like the one I just made today. It's Crunchy potatoes fried in palm fruit oil, enjoyed with tomato sauce.
It's a simple, healthy and yet delicious meal for everyone. The only not to tedious part is the peeling and dicing of potatoes into desired shapes and sizes, the rest is done in a few minute.
These are the following ingredients used for preparing my meal.
INGREDIENTS
10 tubers potatoes
2 deep spoon fresh tomatoes
1 large onion
1 tablespoon salt
75cl palm oil
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon mixed spices
COOKING GUIDE
STEP 1
Peel potatoes, cut into desired sizes and shapes, soak in water and set aside.
Also, wash and dice onions for the tomato sauce.
STEP 2
Add 75cl of palm oil, place on fire and add a tablespoon of salt to potatoes and fry when oil is very hot. Fry both side until well fried and crispy, drain from oil and set aside.
STEP 3
In a clean pot, add 1 cooking spoon oil and add onions, allow to fry for 1 minute to extract flavour of onion into the oil, add tomato and continue to fry for 5 minutes.
STEP 4
It's time to add spices for taste. When tomato is well fried, add the salt, pepper and mixed spice and stir to combine, allow to cook for 30 seconds and turn off the heat.
Our meal is ready for consumption!
The came came out very delicious with the delicious tomato sauce giving the potato a very good compliment.
The combination is nice and I stepped it down with a chilled fresh juice.....I hope I don't make you crave!
