Black sesame seeds laddu or til ke laddu are sweet balls filled with lots of vitamins , capsicum and iron.
Til ke laadu or sesame laddu are a festival snack , which we made on the kite festival called makar-sankarnti. These laddu made with sesame seeds and jaggery. They are not only tasty but healthy too because these laddu contains lots of vitamins, calsium and iron. These ladoo have a melt in mouth texture with nice aroma 😀.
These laddo especially eaten in winters. Because they helps to keep body warm . In the time of gramdmothes , it was advised to have them.
There are many ways to make these laddus . Today I'm going to share my mother-in-law's recipe. Even today she prepared these laddo , i also assist her and learn from her.
So, let's see the recipe 🙂
Ingredients ✅
Sesame seeds 1 kg
Jaggery 800 gram
Water
For make these laddo we need only seeds and jaggery. Isn't it a simple and useful recipe 😜.
Method ✅
Step 1:
First take sesame seeds. Make sure they arr clean.
Start with roast of the seeds. So take a big kadai ( wide and heavy bottom pan) , put the seeds in the kadai and start to roast them.
Roast on the medium to high flame. Stiring continues until seeds began to crackle.
When they start to crackle, turn off the flame and remove in a large plate.
Don't roast these seeds for long time otherwise they become bitter in taste.
Step 2:
On the other side cut jaggery into the small pieces. You can also use Jaggery powder.
I take jaggery pieces and cut into small pieces.
Now in the same pan add 1/2 cup water.
Add small pieces of jaggery in it.
Stir continuously to make jaggery syrup.
When you noticed that jaggery is completely melt and these bubbles than turn off the flame.
Step 3:
Now add roasted sesame seeds in that jaggery syrup and mix well.
Step 4:
Now after 2 minutes, apply some water on the hand and make small balls of the mixture. Make laddu when the mixture is hot otherwise you face difficulty to make the balls. Apply water so hand don't get hurt.
