Is breadfruit I made for my son in a soupy way with local sauce.
Breadfruit is one of our local delicacy that is consumed in different ways like enjoying your breadfruit with rice, with beans, with cassava flakes, with yam and so many things.
Breadfruit can also be cooked alone in different ways by cooking porridge, by cooking watery etc.
Let's go on the ingredients I used in preparing my soupy breadfruit.
INGREDIENTS USED
2 cup of breadfruit
2 tablespoon of groundunt oil
2 piece of fresh pepper
1/2 tablespoon of dry pepper
1 medium Onion
Salt to taste
Water.
PROCEDURE
Here is the process I used in making my delicious soupy breadfruit.
I will first wash my breadfruit put into my neat pot add water and cook I will cook for a very long time.
While waiting for my breadfruit to get done I will make my sauce I will first wash and slice my onions and my pepper
In a dry pot I will put my groundunt oil, allow to heat I will put my salt, my onions, and my fresh pepper I will now stir add a little water and add my dry pepper and stir.
Here my local sauce is ready I will now check my breadfruit while checking I will now add salt, allow to get soft once my breadfruit get soft I will now remove the water into another plate because I will enjoy my breadfruit soupy.
Here my breadfruit is ready I will now serve with the water and my sauce.
Here is the final results.
Looking at this dish is very simple and tempting the water taste really good and he enjoyed his soupy breadfruit .
