Cavatoni with aubergine sauce. (ENG/ESP)

Good morning blog friends, sorry for the absence of these days but unfortunately I had my period and the first period of the summer for me is a tragedy made of headaches, tiredness, stomach ache and bad mood so I have not had the strength to do anything including write.

But today I feel a little better and here I am to bring you another of my recipes, cavatoni with aubergines one of my husband's favourite dishes.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 100 grams of cavatoni pasta
  • 400 ml of tomato sauce
  • 1 large aubergine
  • 6 tablespoons of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 500 ml of water

First of all let's take care of the aubergine, wash it very well with cold water and then cut it into fine pieces, put the pieces on one side and salt them with 3 tablespoons of salt to remove the humidity from the vegetable, let them rest for about twenty minutes.

Buenos días amigos del blog, disculpen la ausencia de estos días, pero lamentablemente tuve la regla y la primera regla del verano para mí es una tragedia hecha de dolores de cabeza, cansancio, dolor de estómago y mal humor, así que no he tenido fuerzas para hacer nada, ni siquiera escribir.

Pero hoy me siento un poco mejor y aquí estoy para traerles otra de mis recetas: cavatoni con berenjenas, uno de los platos favoritos de mi esposo.

Para esta receta necesitarán:

  • 100 gramos de pasta cavatoni
  • 400 ml de salsa de tomate
  • 1 berenjena grande
  • 6 cucharadas de sal
  • 4 cucharadas de aceite
  • 500 ml de agua

Primero que nada, cuidemos la berenjena: lávela muy bien con agua fría y luego córtela en trozos finos. Reserve los trozos y sáquelos con 3 cucharadas de sal para eliminar la humedad. Déjenlos reposar unos veinte minutos.

We cook Cavatoni and aubergines together for ten minutes, we drain everything and add the tomato sauce, mixing well, we also add the oil and mix again, we serve this really delicious and tasty dish hot, the cavatoni are the perfect type of pasta to combine with this simple but effective sauce.

Luego, ponemos una olla con agua a cocer. En cuanto hierva, añadimos las berenjenas y las cocinamos durante unos veinte minutos. Después, añadimos los cavatoni y la sal restante.

Cocinamos los cavatoni y las berenjenas juntos durante diez minutos. Escurrimos todo y añadimos la salsa de tomate, mezclando bien. También añadimos el aceite y volvemos a mezclar. Servimos este plato tan delicioso y sabroso caliente. Los cavatoni son la pasta perfecta para acompañar esta salsa sencilla pero eficaz.

Le melanzane non sono esattamente la mia verdura preferita e questo non sembra un piatto particolarmente dietetico ma la foto di copertina è incredibilmente invitante.. la devo provare 😆😆 Grazie per il suggerimento 😉

In generale adoro tutto ciò che prevede la combinazione di carboidrati e pomodoro..

Ahah meglio per te io camperei a melanzane , specialmente la parmigiana 🤣 nooo dieta non usare queste parolacce 🤣🤣
