Tofu and stewed cabbage/ Tofu y col guisada.

Happy Sunday, blogging friends, how are you? It's really hot here, but here I am again with a recipe. I was really happy to find a large cabbage at the supermarket for less than two euros, so I decided to use it right away! I also had some tofu, which I always find on sale, so this purchase was a real steal!

Here's my recipe for today. You'll need:

  • 350 grams of cabbage
  • 100 grams of tofu
  • 500 ml of tomato puree
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 3 tablespoons of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of pepper

First, prepare the cabbage. Cut off the desired part (as you can see from the photos, the cabbage was so large that I had some difficulty), then wash the part we need and cut it into medium strips. Prepare a large pan and add the cabbage, covering it with about three glasses of water. Bring to a boil until the water evaporates. Once it evaporates, add the oil and cook over low heat for about ten minutes.

También tenía tofu, que siempre encuentro de oferta, ¡así que fue una verdadera ganga! Aquí les dejo mi receta de hoy. Necesitarán:

  • 350 gramos de col
  • 100 gramos de tofu
  • 500 ml de puré de tomate
  • 3 cucharadas de aceite
  • 3 cucharadas de sal
  • 3 cucharadas de pimienta

Primero, preparen la col. Corten la parte que deseen (como pueden ver en las fotos, la col era tan grande que me costó un poco), luego laven la parte que necesitamos y córtela en tiras medianas. Preparen una olla grande y agreguen la col, cubriéndola con aproximadamente tres vasos de agua. Dejen que hierva hasta que el agua se evapore. Una vez que se evapore, agreguen el aceite y cocinen a fuego lento durante unos diez minutos.

Luego, corta el tofu en rodajas medianas y agrégalo a la sartén. Mézclalo con la col, añade la sal y el puré de tomate.

Mezcla bien y cocina a fuego lento durante media hora para que el tofu y la col se impregnen del sabor del tomate. Cuando esté listo, sazona con pimienta y sirve caliente.
