Crispy Banana Flower
Crispy banana flowers are a snack made from banana flowers coated in flour, fried until crispy and enjoyed with any sauce you like. So, when handling banana flowers, we need preparation and care when cleaning the flowers. This is because banana flowers have a hard part, namely the stigma, therefore before starting I cleaned it first and made sure that part was taken. Instead of being curious, let's take a look at the following recipe!
Materials Used
250 grams of wheat flour
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon mushroom stock
50 ml water
Creation Procedure
Prepare the banana flower, take the part of the flower that has not yet bloomed and make sure the flower is still young.
Remove the hardened part of the flower stigma, do this until you're done.
Transfer the flour to a larger container, then season with ground pepper, coriander and mushroom stock.
Add salt then add water little by little while stirring, add water until the mixture is slightly runny.
Put the banana flowers in the liquid mixture then add to the wet mixture.
Then fry in hot oil until golden brown.
