Have a nice day, dear friends. How are you? Today is a beautiful day, as always. A suitable dish should be prepared for breakfast today. So, I thought I'd share a special recipe with you. It is a potato roti, a nutritious dish that can be prepared in a short time. Everyone, big and small, can enjoy this. Taste, nutrition, and creativity are very important in cooking. If we prepare the food beautifully, even small children can easily eat it. So now, I will tell you how to make this roti in a different way.
Materials Used.
Two medium sized potatoes boiled and mashed.
A little chopped onion.
A pod or two of finely chopped green chillies.
2 cloves of chopped garlic.
Some curry leaves.
Salt to taste.
4 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
5 Tablespoon of water.
Wheat flour 200g.
1 Teaspoon of Chili powder.
1/2 Teaspoon of pepper powder.
1/2 Teaspoon of Yellow powder.
The cooking process as follows.
Now let's prepare it. First, you need to make the dough. Take a bowl and add wheat flour. Add the required amount of salt and a tablespoon of coconut oil, then mix well. Gradually add water and mix until the flour forms a dough.
Next, shape the dough into small balls. Spread a little coconut oil on each of these small dough balls. After that take a small piece of cloth and keep it closed.
Next, we prepare a filling for this roti. For that, place a pot on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic. After the garlic is half fried, add chopped onions, raw chilies, curry leaves, and the required amount of salt powder, and mix well.
Next, add chili powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and mix it. Add boiled potatoes to it and mix.
Next, take the prepared dough balls. Sprinkle some flour on a flat surface and roll one dough ball into a thin, round shape. Place about a tablespoon of the potato mixture in the center of the circle. Fold the edges over the filling and seal it well. Use a fork to press down the edges for a decorative seal, as shown in the images below.
Now, take a griddle or a flat pan and heat it on the stove until it gets hot. Place the roti on the hot plate and roast both sides until they are golden brown, as shown in the pictures below.
So, you can enjoy this potato roti for breakfast or dinner. It's very easy to prepare and perfect for packing in school lunch boxes. I hope you try this recipe. I will say goodbye for today and will meet you with another delicious dish. Have a great day!.
