How are you? Today, on this relaxing Saturday, I thought of preparing a new breakfast recipe using cassava grown at home. We usually cook or boil cassava, but today I'll explain how to prepare it differently. To increase its nutritional value, I added two types of vegetables. This recipe is very delicious and nutritious, even more so than other types of potatoes. Additionally, it includes rice flour and coconut. And after preparing this, it will be very tasty if eaten with any curry. So, let's see how to prepare this dish.
Materials Used.
A small carrot, finely chopped.
A little chopped onion.
A few finely chopped leek leaves.
Cassava 300g.
1 Cup of Grated Coconut.
Rice flour 120 g.
Salt as needed.
1/2 Teaspoon of pepper.
1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
The cooking process as follows.
Let's get this set up now. For that, first remove the top bark of the cassava, wash it and sprinkle it, take a grater and grate the cassava finely. .
Next, we add the rice flour to the grated cassava and add the grated coconut.
Next, we add carrots, leeks and onions cut into long shapes and mix well. Add pepper, turmeric and salt to taste and mix well.
Next we take a steamer to prepare this recipe and put it on the stove and let it heat up. Then put a banana leaf on top of it and put all the prepared cassava mixture and boil it in steam for 20 minutes. Once it boils well, remove it from the heat.
Next, we take the boiled pittu mixture in a cup and fill it and press it well. Turn it to the other side and arrange it as shown in the pictures below.
So this way the cassava pittu is finished . We can add this delicious dish by adding any kind of curry. You can turn this breakfast into a nutritious meal.
