Japanese pumpkin cooked in stir-fried tauco

Japanese pumpkin or chayote is a type of vegetable that is very delicious when stir-fried, this time I will stir-fry this chayote using tauco, tauco is our family's favorite food menu so it's not surprising that we always have a stock of tauco at home.

Apart from being delicious, this menu is also very healthy, I once read an article that said eating chayote every day is very good for health, so this green vegetable has many benefits for the body, therefore don't hesitate to add chayote to your daily diet.

One of the benefits of chayote is that it lowers blood sugar levels and helps maintain digestive health. Chayote is rich in folic acid, making it excellent for pregnancy. These are some of the benefits of chayote that I've read about in previous articles.

For those trying to lose weight, boiled chayote is also highly recommended, my friends. Boiled or steamed chayote is recommended. It can also be eaten raw with chili sauce. It's also delicious as a side dish. I'll make it sometime soon.

It just so happened that I had only one chayote left so I immediately started cooking it. Don't look at the outer skin of my chayote, but the inside was still very good.


Materials used

1 chayote
1 tbsp tauco
12 green chilies
7 red chilies
1 tomato
2 shallots
2 cloves garlic


Manufacturing procedure


First


I peeled all the skin of the chayote then I split it into two parts, then I cut it into long pieces like matchsticks, then I washed it first and I added a little salt to make the chayote softer.

Second


I also cut red chilies, green chilies, shallots, garlic and tomatoes, then I sautéed them in hot oil.

Third


After the chilies and onions are cooked, I add the chayote and stir-fry it again until cooked. I don't need to add salt because I already added it.

RESULTS

This is the result of my homemade chayote squash, ready to be served on your dining table. Eat it with warm rice, it's very delicious, plus hot fried fish. Mmmm, it really tastes delicious. There's no doubt that the level of deliciousness is truly the best.

The taste of this chayote is really delicious when combined with rice and fish, it is really very tasty. Apart from being delicious, this nutritious chayote can also be eaten by children, as long as it is not spicy when you cook it.
