It's interesting to know that they also prepare them in your country. What spices do you use when making them? I used few spices here because I didn't have any at home, but I usually use more, for example, ground oregano and some pepper, plus I add chopped cilantro at the end.

Today I learned that this dish is made in the Southern United States on New Year's Day; it's like the traditional dish.

Really an interesting soup. Onions 🧅 and black peppers 🌶 are good ingredients to this soup because it needs warmness .

You can also choose to add some fresh peppers and salt to taste. Its usually a simple soup here in my country because beans is delicious on its own.
