How are you, Good evening to all my dear friends. I always believe, I always remind you that you are always happy/joyful with your members. I am currently pregnant. That's why I get hungry all the time. So most of the time I eat food that I have at home. Otherwise, I cook food at home for the little hunger pangs that come my way. I hardly eat anything from the store. That's how I brought this delicious snack to my dear friends today. So let's see how to make this delicious snack.
The method of making;
- A average sized potato
- A average sized carrot
- Three pods of green chillies
- A few curry leaves
- 20g of breadcrumbs
- Half cup of plain flour
- Three tablespoons of cornflour
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- A teaspoon of chilli pieces
- Half teaspoon of salt powder
- 100ml of oil
- Four tablespoons of water
The method of making;
Grate the carrots and potatoes that have been washed and cleaned well. The amount of carrots and potatoes can be large. Therefore, it is better to grate half of the carrots and half of the potatoes. So,then chopped curry leaves with green chillies.
Now put a pan on the stove and add a tablespoon of oil to it. When it is hot, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
Now add grated potato and carrot.
Add salt to it.
Cook on low heat for two minutes and transfer to another container to cool.
Now let's prepare this mixture. To do this, combine the carrot and potato mixture in a bowl and add the plain flour to it.
Now add cornflour flour.
Then add chopped green chillies with curry leaves.
Add chilli pieces to the bowl.
Mix well.
So, Now add three tablespoons of water to it.
Knead well.
Now sprinkle some flour on the thinly sliced disc and roll this mixture out to about eight inches long.
Now make it into a triangle shape.
Cut like this strips.
Let's make the batter. SO, add two tablespoons of plainflourto the bowl and two tablespoons of water to it.
Dip the triangle shaped mixture into the prepared batter.
Coat with breadcrumbs.
Adding it to the hot oil and frying it on medium heat for about five minutes on both sides is enough.
I added green chilies and chili pieces to this snack, but when I made it and tasted it, it wasn't really that spicy. That's why I think everyone, big or small, can eat this.The shape is lovely. The ingredients are few. It's very easy to make. So I request you to make it and taste it.
