That is why I have not been able to visit you for the past two weeks and I have not been able to make a new recipe.Today I bring you pumpkin tempura. A very delicious tempura. But I made this two weeks ago. Due to delivery, I couldn't bring it to you. This is delicious and very easy to make. So, let's see how to pumpkin tempura.
Ingredients;
- 250g of piece of pumpkin
- A full teaspoon of chilli pieces
- Half teaspoon of chilli powder
- Half teaspoon of salt powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 20ml of water
- Three tablespoons of cornflour
- 100ml of oil
- Two cloves of garlic
- A normal sized onion
- Three pods of green chillies
- A piece of pandan leaves
- A few curry leaves
- A few cinnamon sticks
- Two cloves
The method of making;
First, remove the skin and core of the pumpkin and cut it into regular, thin squares.
Cut the well-washed and cleaned large onions into fairly large pieces, the garlic into thin strips, and the green chilies into long strips.
Afterthat add cornflour to the bowl and add turmeric powder, pepper powder, chili powder with a pinch of salt powder to it.
Make a liquid batter by adding water little by little.
Dip the chopped pumpkin pieces in the liquid, add them to the hot oil, and fry them well for about five minutes.
Add two tablespoons of the same hot oil to another pan and add the mustard seeds.
Add the garlic cloves and sauté over low heat for about a minute.
Add onion pieces and stir with low flame.
Add cloves.
Add pandan leaves, curry leaves with cinnamon sticks.
Add green chillies.
After adding all the above, stir for about a minute and turn off the stove.
Now add pepper powder with salt powder.
Before the end, add the chili pieces and stir until everything is well mixed and taste.
Finally, add the fried pumpkin pieces, stir well, and remove from heat.
