Hello my loving Hiveans,
How are you, Good morning, dear friends. Today is a very mild day. I hope all your/my plans come true today. Sometimes, no matter how much we plan, we may not be able to do these things. But it is not good to give up trying. It is the same for me, sometimes no matter how much I try to prepare a meal, I can't really show you that meal that day.So I am a very busy person these days. That is why I always try to taste delicious, quick, and simple dishes. Today I am going to show you one such dish made with Sri lankan rice flacks (habala pethi). This is very easy/convenient/with few ingredients/in less than five minutes. So, let's see how to make it.
Ingredients;
- 100g of Sri Lankan rice flacks
- A handful grated coconut
- A pinch of salt powder
- Two tablespoons of white sugar
- A cup of hot water
- 10g of roasted peanuts
The method of making;
First, you need to add hot water to these rice flacks and boil them for about a minute.
Boiling for about a minute is enough. Then, squeeze out the water. If you boil it longer, the rice flacks may become too liquid.
Add roasted peanuts.
Then add grated coconut.
Afterthat add pinch of salt powder to the bowl.
At last add sugar.
Once everything is added, stir very carefully and gently until everything is mixed.
I added sugar to this because I like it sweet. But if you are someone who does not like sweet things, you can add very little sugar and make this delicious and quick sweet dish. This is a very easy/quick and nutritious dish. A side dish. You can make it at tea time, when you want to enjoy a cup of coffee and enjoy it on a cold day. Sure, you will like this dish.
Warmly thanking you for reading.
