Hello PlantPower (vegan) friends. This is my first participation in this community and I am pleased to do so in @sirenahippie's challenge, Your Veggie Shopping # 27 (Vinegar - Vinagre)
Vinegar is a product that I normally use in the kitchen as it is excellent for sanitizing vegetables and meats such as chicken, as it acts against bacteria such as Echerichia Coli and Salmonella, I also use it to neutralize odors, sterilize utensils, to dress vegetables in salads, prepare pickles avoiding food damage due to its preservative power. When I buy vinegar I usually look at the price and buy the cheapest and although I have not taken into account the brand I have observed that among them there are differences in odor and taste because once I could perceive that a vinegar had a more acidic taste and a stronger odor than others I had bought.
Vinegar is produced by the acid fermentation of wine and is composed of water and acetic acid, which is what prevents the proliferation of dangerous bacteria in food, hence its great importance in our lives. In my experience I can say that it helped me to fight nail fungus and to calm stomach acidity. It is also a natural antioxidant that helps reduce bad cholesterol.
For this challenge I went to the supermarket where I usually do my shopping, Supermercado Costa Azul in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state, this time I not only looked at the price but also at the brand and I bought 1/2 liter of the Sofía brand, which is relatively new in the market.
I have used several products from this brand and I can say that they are very good. The cost of the vinegar was 0.77 dollars which translates into 26.37 bolivars.

El vinagre es un producto que normalmente uso en la cocina ya que es excelente para higienizar los vegetales y carnes como el pollo, ya que actúa contra bacterias como Echerichia Coli y la Salmonella, también lo uso para neutralizar olores, esterilizar los utensilios, para aliñar los vegetales en la ensalada, preparar encurtidos evitando que se dañen los alimentos debido a su poder conservante . Cuando compro vinagre normalmente me fijo en el precio y compro el más barato y aunque no he tomado en cuenta la marca he observado que entre ellas hay diferencias en cuanto al olor y al sabor ya que en una oportunidad pude percibir que un vinagre tenía un sabor más ácido y un olor más fuerte que otros que había comprado.
El vinagre es producido por la fermentación ácida del vino y está compuesto por agua y ácido acético que es el que evita la proliferación de bacterias peligrosas en los alimentos, de allí su gran importancia en nuestras vidas. En mi experiencia puedo decir que me ayudó a combatir hongo en las uñas y a calmar la acidez estomacal. Además es un antioxidante natural que ayuda a reducir el colesterol malo.
Para este desafío me fui al supermercado en dónde habitualmente hago mis compras, Supermercado Costa Azul de la ciudad de Cumaná estado Sucre, en esta ocasión no solo me fije en el precio sino también en la marca y compré 1/2 litro de la marca Sofía, la cuál es relativamente nueva en el mercado.
Yo he usado varios productos de esta marca y puedo decir que son muy buenos. El costo del vinagre fue de 0.77 dólares que se traduce en 26.37 bolívares.
