Welcome back.. today I share about Aceh's culinary specialty in the form of Kuwah Eungkot Paya (swamp fish soup). Kuwah eungkot paya is usually cooked together by men by working together, starting from finding fish in swamps or rivers, cleaning them together, cooking them until eating them together.

Kuwah eungkot paya is usually made at night during the dry season, why does it have to be the dry season..? In the dry season the swamps start to dry up and fish are very easy to catch.

In addition to Aceh's spices to add to the flavor of kuwah eungkot paya, this kuwah eungkot paya is also added with young bananas or banana heart fruit.
