Don't ask me why, because I don't even know the reason myself; it just happened.
I start playing the music of Disturbed in my mind, a rock band I sometimes listen to when I need to recharge, although sometimes it evokes more nostalgia. Perhaps that's why, because of the nostalgia and the need to recharge, their melodies come to mind.
The funny thing is, I'm sitting in a train terminal, with a ham and cheese pizza that was just served to me, looking out the window and seeing everything in slow motion.
Loud music and subtle images, a surreal video where I'm just a spectator.
I pretend to choose a more upbeat song, maybe from Disturbed, and begin to savor the texture and flavor of the pizza: its cheese, its crispy edges, the subtle spicy aroma of the tomato sauce that coats it.
Everyone outside continues walking in slow motion, even a train approaches in slow motion...
I sip a nice cold mamey smoothie that I also ordered from the waitress, who, smiling, served it to me graciously. I smiled back and thanked her, of course.
The train arrives at the terminal platform. I smile subtly and imagine boarding it to head to Guantánamo, Cuba's easternmost province.
Why head to that region? Well, someone lives there who has just begun their journey through this magical world of #hive and who will surely enlighten us with every suggestion they make through their writing and each of their stories.
Thus, on this journey facilitated by the train lines, music, and lyrics, I take the opportunity, motivated by the contest brought to us by @hivetrending this month, to nominate @yess85, a lover of poetry and pizzas like many of us.
@yess85 is a woman who lives in the woods, who embraces life with a smile, without a memory.
I nominate her because I'm sure that with the support she'd receive from the award, she'll delight us in her growth through this community that welcomes her with open arms, and who knows how many pizza recipes she'll share with us, since she's a lover of creative cooking!
Yess, that's her name, is a highly accomplished poet and editor, a tireless cultural promoter who stands out for supporting diverse artists beyond the borders of her province, something that greatly honors her.
She also has something very precious and moving. She has brought two wonderful children into the world, and today she joins us with Alma Camila, a little girl who embraces with her smile and who also loves pizza!
Of course, if her daughter had a Hive profile, she'd nominate her too. Just look at the mother and daughter's faces to see how much they enjoy the irresistible pleasure of eating pizza.
How can you resist these images? A little girl so small showing us how to use cutlery to slice an enormous pizza is proof of how she's been raised by someone special. Education, talent, light, and smiles abound in the shared joy of pizza!

This contented face, with a genuine mischievousness that embraces us with its gaze, is an invaluable gift that is truly appreciated and undoubtedly brightens the day.
Now the world doesn't appear in slow motion but rather more joyful and colorful. Disturbed is now playing with the song Shut, by the once iconic band Europa. I turn up the volume and dance with my arms in the air...
So I take this opportunity to say goodbye, but not before sending you all a hug of light!

No me pregunten por qué, pues ni yo mismo sé la causa, solo surgió así.
Comienzo a reproducir en mi mente la música de Disturbed, grupo de rock que en ocasiones escucho cuando necesito cargar baterías, aunque a veces me provoca más bien nostalgia. Quizá por eso, por la nostalgia y la necesidad de cargar energías, es que vienen a mi cabeza sus melodías.
Lo curioso de todo es que, estoy sentado en una terminal de trenes, con una pizza de jamón y queso que recién me sirvieron a la mesa, observo hacia el exterior de la ventana y todo lo visualizo en cámara lenta.
Música fuerte e imagen sutil, un video surrealista donde soy apenas un espectador.
Hago como si escogiese un tema musical más animado, de Disturbed igual, comienzo a deleitarme en la textura y el sabor de la pizza, su queso, sus bordes crujientes, el leve aroma picante de la salsa de tomate que recubre su presencia.
Todos en el exterior continúan caminando en cámara lenta, incluso un tren se aproxima en cámara lenta...
Bebo un batido de mamey bien frío que también pedí a la camarera, quien, sonriendo me lo sirvió gentilmente, le sonreí también, y agradecí por supuesto.
El tren llega al andén de la terminal, le sonrío sutilmente e imagino lo abordo para dirigirme a Guantánamo, provincial más oriental de Cuba.
¿Por qué dirigirme a esa región? Pues ahí reside alguien que recién comenzó su andar por este mundo mágico de #hive y quien seguro nos iluminará con cada propuesta que nos haga a través de sus letras y con cada una de sus historias.
Así, en este viaje que nos facilitan las líneas del tren, la música y las letras, aprovecho para, en esta ocasión y motivado por el concurso que nos trae @hivetrending en este mes, nominar a @yess85, una amante de la poesía y las pizzas al igual que muchos de nosotros.
@yess85 es una mujer que habita los bosques, que se muestra sin memoria para sonreírle a la vida tal y como se nos ofrece.
La nomino porque estoy seguro que con la ayuda que recibiría con el premio, nos deleitará en su proceso de crecimiento a través de esta comunidad que la recibe con los brazos abiertos y, ¡quién sabe cuántas recetas de pizza nos regale pues es una amante de la cocina creativa!
Yess, así es su nombre, es una poeta y editora de alto calibre, incansable promotora cultural que se destaca por apoyar a disímiles artistas, más allá de las fronteras de su provincia, algo que la dignifica sobremanera.
Tiene también ella algo muy valioso y que emociona. Ha traído al mundo a dos niños maravillosos y hoy nos acompaña con Alma Camila, una niña que abraza con su sonrisa y ¡es amante también de las pizzas!
Claro, si su hija tuviese un perfil creado en hive, también la nominaría. Solo hay que ver el rostro de madre e hija para darnos cuenta de cómo disfrutan el irresistible placer de comer pizza.
¿Cómo resistirse ante estas imágenes? Una niña tan pequeña que nos muestra cómo sabe coger los cubiertos para trocear la inmensa pizza, es evidencia de cómo ha sido educada por alguien especial. Educación, talento, luz y sonrisas multiplicadas en la evidencia de un mismo placer: ¡disfrutar de las pizzas!

Este rostro satisfecho, con una picardía genuina que nos abraza con su mirada, es un regalo invaluable que se agradece e ilumina el día sin lugar a dudas.
Ahora el mundo no se muestra en cámara lenta sino más alegre y colorido. Disturbed ahora suena con la canción Shut, de la otrora icónica banda Europa, subo el volumen y bailo con los brazos al viento...
