While navigating Seattle's Military Zone, I faced power outages, locked gates, and forgotten passcodes, but clever thinking and a bit of luck kept things moving. From rerouting cables to scavenging fuel, it was a gritty trek through ruins with Dina by my side and the hotel just in reach
After opening the inner gate, I still had to open the big main gate to let Dina in. I found the control panel that I could use to open the gate but the panel was out of power.
I went back to the generator, unplugged the power cable that I attached to open the other gate earlier and I threw the cable above the fence so I could attach it to the power socket of the control panel.
I went to the other side and I carried the cable and I attached it to the power socket to give power to the control panel, and it worked.
But I had to enter a passcode to open the main gate. I found a list of passcode earlier but I didn't check them properly as I didn't know I'd need them later. Fortunately, I was recording the gameplay to tell the story easily later and I found the passcode from there and I let Dina in after opening the main gate.
Dina came in bringing the horse along so we got to jump over some obstacles now that I couldn't on foot. And through the Seattle Military Zone, we reached close to Servena Hotel where we should get some info about our targets.
There was this locked gate, gate east 2 that was blocking us from getting to the hotel. I found a security lock on the gate and Ellie mentioned there are bunch of codes in the note she found. I hope I'd found the note in her collection.
But the security panel was out of power so I needed to back it up. As we needed to power the gate first, I started following the cables that were attached to the panel.
The cables took me to this generator that I tried to power up but after certain tries, Ellie understood it was out of gas.
Ellie remembered the note mentioned there's gas in the courthouse garage and the dome. Its good that Ellie remembered all these key points as I don't check these notes myself.
And we rode to Downtown that was full of tall buildings.
I noticed an under constructed building part on my way where I climbed up but the stairs were not finished. I broke some glass window and found an alternative way that took me on top of it where I found some loot.
Then I started riding the horse taking Dina along and after a certain time, I noticed I was at a good distance from the hotel already.
