Greetings friends of the community. I'll start by saying that I already have a boat and although it's not in the best condition, I think it's a great reason to celebrate. In case you missed it here I explain how I got my boat.
Although I have a few crew members they are not enough to be able to start my piracy acts, so I set course to Nassau to recruit new crew members and to meet up with some old friends.
During the trip I decide to stop on a small island to hunt some iguanas and ocelots to make myself a new gun. I must say that I literally ran after an iguana and jumped on them, which I couldn't do with the ocelots, since they were so skittish I had to use the pistol. With the holster done you can return to the ship and holster a new pistol that we found in the hold of the ship.
When I finally arrived in Nassau, the first thing I saw was Edward Thatch and Benjamin Hornigold intimidating a British naval officer. At this scene, Adéwalé asked me if these were my friends, to which I replied that they were.
After disembarking I agree to meet Adéwalé in the tavern, as there are only two places where a pirate can be found: at sea or in a tavern drinking rum. Upon arriving at the tavern I introduce them to my deck officer, my friends and after a few off-hand comments regarding their race they tell me that I must find more crew members for my ship.
To do this I should either go freeing criminals and slaves or I could hire them. As I was just starting out in this piracy business I was very low on money, so I only had the option of going around Nassau and freeing prisoners to join me.
Recruiting a new crew turned out to be easier than expected, as I only had to climb to the top of a bell tower and take a look at the terrain. After marking the places where there were prisoners, I gradually released them. Of course, there was a lot of aerial jumping, killing from the heights and a small massacre of British officers.
After gathering a good crew, I meet Hornigold and Thatch again on the beach. After joking a bit about the difference in the size of our ships, Hornigold offers to give me a piracy lesson, even though I told him I didn't need it, but he insisted.
So it was that, in the company of this curious character, I made my first boarding in the game and captured my first booty.
After several acts of piracy and more than one boarding, I went to a fishing village where Thatch was waiting for me. There, my pirate friends told me about the ideals of a new pirate republic they wanted to create, and in the midst of all the talk, they showed me a gift they had prepared.
They gave me my own pirate flag, which made me a founding member of their confederation of free men.
The groundwork was laid and my beloved Jackdaw was ready to set sail and build a reputation as the most fearsome ship in the Caribbean. All that remained was to weigh anchor and set sail at the helm of my ship in search of treasure-laden merchant ships.
