I love starting each new day early. Waking up at 6 a.m. gives me more time and makes my day feel much more productive. When the alarm rings, I open my eyes and take a deep breath. Then I do a short workout to get my body moving. After that comes my plank exercise, which felt very difficult in the beginning, but now it has become an essential part of my mornings. It’s tiring but
makes me feel strong and energetic throughout the day.
After exercising, I move on to the most special ritual of my morning: drinking the whey from my homemade yogurt. It might sound unusual to some, but for me, it’s both a source of health and a natural boost of energy. That refreshing, slightly tangy taste always gives me a fresh start. Then I take a shower and get completely ready for the day.
At that moment, my boss arrives and picks me up by car. On our way to work, I enjoy the scenery along the Malatya–Sivas road. The fields, the trees, and the distant mountains all bring me peace every single time. Our workplace is right on this road, far away from the city noise, nestled in the heart of nature.
Our café and restaurant is an authentic place with a garden that instantly captivates anyone who visits. As soon as you step inside, the scent of apple trees greets you. On one side, apricot trees glow with their golden colors. Tall poplars reach up to the sky, while pine trees fill the air with their fresh aroma. Peach trees, especially in summer, are heavy with fruit, offering both a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Our tables are placed under these trees, shaded and serene. Sitting there feels like stepping into another time.
In the mornings, we welcome our guests with a rich traditional breakfast. The butter, the village cheese, and the fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from our garden taste completely different from anything store-bought. Alongside the olives, we serve homemade jams that add vibrant colors to the table. Seeing the happiness on our guests’ faces as they enjoy breakfast fills us with joy as well. In the evenings, the atmosphere changes with the aroma of grilled meats spreading through the garden. Sharing food around the fire and enjoying warm conversations is one of the best parts of this place.
But this place is more than just somewhere to eat—it’s a living space. Watching children run and laugh on the grass while their families relax adds a unique energy to the atmosphere. Their laughter, blending with the songs of the birds, makes everything feel alive. We also have goats in our garden, and we use their milk to make yogurt, which we sometimes offer to our guests.
These little touches bring authenticity to life, because we want every visitor to take home not only a meal but also a memory.
What makes our place truly special is that we never serve anything we wouldn’t eat ourselves. Most of our products come straight from our own garden. Our eggplants give off a wonderful aroma when roasted, our peppers are always fresh, and our cucumbers are crisp. Tomatoes are picked straight from the vine and served immediately. The sweet scent of melons fills every corner of the garden. Even our sunflowers are homegrown, and the honey we serve comes from our own bees. For us, bringing nature directly to the table is not just a business—it’s a way of life.
Working in this place every day brings me so much peace. Being surrounded by nature while also sharing it with people feels like a blessing. The satisfaction and happiness on our guests’ faces make us forget any tiredness. Watching families and friends spend joyful moments together here also gives us happiness in return.
At the end of the day, when I go home, I feel the sweet exhaustion of a day that began early and ended full of life. But every time, I think to myself: living and working in a place filled with natural products and pure peace is truly precious. My life may not be filled with great adventures, but I try to appreciate the small moments. And I believe happiness is hidden right there, in those simple things. 🌿🍑☕
