Today is a day of Tbt, or of some special memory, I want to tell you that, in my pleasant and beautiful stay in Peru, in the first years I was invaded not only by family nostalgia but also by that Venezuelan flavor, do not misunderstand me Peruvian cuisine is undoubtedly one of the best in the world and I am a fan, but you know that one always wants to try that taste of home and misses their typical foods.
So I dedicated myself to investigate some place where they offered that food from home, or those typical dishes that I missed so much, and I found El Budare, a restaurant that fortunately for me was close to my house, I lived a few blocks from an avenue that is quite busy and with many businesses. That day I went with my husband and we were looking forward to it and we ordered several meals without eating all day so we could try everything and if there was anything left we could take it with us.
We ordered papelón with lemon and a soft drink also from there called Inka Cola, a Venezuelan style cesar salad, a parrilla, a patacón and last but not least a pabellón criollo. Wow, it was a lot of food, but we ate what we could, and we were super happy, it was like coming home through the taste of the food, everything was very good, with Venezuelan seasoning and what took the throne was the pabellon.
I loved that day, because I already knew where I could go to eat soon and that place became very visited, that day I remember that I was wearing my glasses for the first time and I wanted to dress up and make up a lot, they are so nice memories that I will always carry in my heart. Happy Thursday!
