Hace años no salía a disfrutar de los Carnavales en la ciudad donde vivo, normalmente estos días son de descanso o una oportunidad para viajar, pero la emoción de los Carnavales quedó en mi infancia. Recuerdo que cada año mi madre me disfrazaba, tuve una larga lista de disfraces, todos hermosos, esperaba con ansias estas fechas; recuerdo perfectamente mi último disfraz, fue de Cleopatra, y lo amaba💖
Pero con los años se fue perdiendo esa energía, y ya los Carnavales no eran iguales. Aunque aún se siente de esa manera, en esta ocasión pude disfrutar un poco más de la celebración, dado a qué últimamente he escuchado más a mi niña interior 🤭 Y aquí te cuento los detalles.
Years ago I didn't go out to enjoy Carnivals in the city where I live, usually these days are for rest or an opportunity to travel, but the excitement of Carnivals remained in my childhood. I remember that every year my mother used to dress me up, I had a long list of costumes, all beautiful, I was looking forward to these dates; I remember perfectly my last costume, it was Cleopatra, and I loved it💖
But over the years that energy was lost, and Carnivals were no longer the same. Although it still feels that way, this time I was able to enjoy the celebration a little more, because lately I have listened more to my inner child 🤭 And here are the details.
Para comenzar, nada de lo que sucedió este día estaba planificado 😂 se supone que era un domingo de descanso, así que la mitad del día solo hice un maratón de One Piece (estoy obsesionada con el anime), y pude haber continuado todo el día, pero mis padres decidieron que debíamos almorzar afuera, dado que teníamos tiempo sin hacerlo✨
For starters, nothing that happened this day was planned 😂 it was supposed to be a Sunday off, so half the day I just marathoned One Piece (I'm obsessed with anime), and I could have continued all day, but my parents decided we should have lunch out, since we had time without it✨
Así fue como llegamos a la Pizzeria del Este, un lugar que tenía tiempo queriendo visitar, porque la pizza es una de mis comidas favoritas, y este lugar conocido por ser un Rodizio de Pizzas, cuenta con más de 20 sabores de pizza salada y cinco sabores de pizzas dulces, las cuales cada cierto tiempo un mesonero te va llevando un pedazo de diferentes sabores a tu mesa, y decides si aceptarlo o no.
Puedes repetir cuántas veces quieras, pero la regla es que no puedes dejar nada en tu plato, o será cobrado como un adicional.

That's how we arrived at Pizzeria del Este, a place I had been wanting to visit for a long time, because pizza is one of my favorite foods, and this place known for being a Pizza Rodizio, has more than 20 flavors of savory pizza and five flavors of sweet pizzas, which every so often a waiter brings you a piece of different flavors to your table, and you decide whether to accept it or not.
You can repeat as many times as you want, but the rule is that you can't leave anything on your plate, or it will be charged as an additional.

La atención fue un 10/10, las pizzas fueron un 10/10, y todos quedamos extasiados. Sinceramente, perdí la cuenta de cuántos pedazos comí, pero entre los sabores estuvieron: ensalada Caprese, sushi, parrilla, pollo a la bbq, lasaña, cuatro quesos, margarita, hawaiana, cebolla dulce, mexicana, y pepito (al menos esos son los sabores que recuerdo🤭), y con las pizzas dulces probé los cinco sabores: Nutella, arequipe, dulce de leche, mermelada de fresa, y piña con leche condensada.
Quedé completamente llena con toda esa comida, y volvería a ir muchas veces más💕
The service was a 10/10, the pizzas were a 10/10, and we were all ecstatic. Honestly, I lost count of how many pieces I ate, but among the flavors were: Caprese salad, sushi, grilled, bbq chicken, lasagna, four cheese, margarita, Hawaiian, sweet onion, Mexican, and pepito (at least those are the flavors I remember🤭), and with the sweet pizzas I tried all five flavors: Nutella, arequipe, dulce de leche, strawberry jam, and pineapple with condensed milk.
I was completely full of all that food, and I would go back many more times💕.

Cuando regresábamos a la casa, mi padre tuvo que tomar atajos porque las calles hacia el oeste de la ciudad estaban cerradas, debido al desfile de carrozas y comparsas que sería más tarde. En el camino vimos a una carroza que iba hacia el lugar, y gracias a eso comenzamos un debate familia sobre que desde hace tiempo no íbamos a ver el desfile de Carnaval. Y se tomó la decisión de ir en esta ocasión 🤭
Así llegamos al C.C Metropolis para estacionar el carro, y esperamos en la calle alrededor de una hora, viendo el show que estaba en la tarima del centro comercial, pero especialmente, disfrutando de todos los disfraces de los niños, e incluso de los perros🥺 Mis favoritos fue un Chihuahua disfrazado de perro policía y su niño estaba disfrazado de policía también, un Golden Retriever disfrazado de Hulk, y un niño disfrazado de piloto de avión✨
Lo más precioso del Carnaval es eso🥺
When we were returning home, my father had to take shortcuts because the streets to the west of the city were closed, due to the parade of floats and comparsas that would be later. On the way we saw a float going to the place, and thanks to that we started a family discussion about the fact that we had not been to see the Carnival parade for a long time. And the decision was made to go this time 🤭
So we arrived at C.C Metropolis to park the car, and we waited on the street for about an hour, watching the show that was on the stage of the mall, but especially, enjoying all the costumes of the children, and even the dogs🥺 My favorites were a Chihuahua dressed as a police dog and his child was dressed as a policeman too, a Golden Retriever dressed as the Hulk, and a boy dressed as an airplane pilot✨.

A las 6:30pm comenzó el desfile, primero con las comparsas y academias de baile, luego con las carrozas. Claramente, no fue un desfile tan grande como el que recordaba de cuando era niña, pero las que estuvieron estaban hermosas, y no se puede negar. Las personas encargadas hicieron un buen trabajo✨
Aunque, siempre hay una favorita. Para mí fue la primera carroza que ví, su temática era de libros (una de mis pasiones), y tenían un Principito gigante y hermoso, y muchos libros también gigantes de diferentes temáticas. Considero que estuvo maravillosa💕
Y algo característico de los carnavales, que jamás pasará de moda, es la recolección de caramelos lanzados por las carrozas. A pesar de que uno cayó en mi ojo, no me detuvo de agarrar varios🤭
At 6:30pm the parade began, first with the comparsas and dance academies, then with the floats. Clearly, it wasn't as big a parade as the one I remembered from when I was a kid, but the ones that were there were beautiful, and there was no denying it. The people in charge did a good job✨
Although, there is always a favorite. For me, it was the first float I saw, its theme was books (one of my passions), and they had a giant and beautiful Little Prince, and many giant books of different themes. I think it was wonderful💕
And something characteristic of carnivals, which will never go out of style, is the collection of candies thrown by the floats. Even though one fell in my eye, it didn't stop me from grabbing several🤭
Y así es como un día que pensaba ser de descanso, me hizo llegar a mi casa a las 10:00pm, sumamente cansada🤭 Aunque, sin duda alguna, esas salidas improvisadas que te regalan alegría, siempre serán maravillosas💜 Especialmente cuando estás con personas que quieres.
