Hello my beautiful hive family i really want to wish you a very happy new year and I hope that this year 2026 would grant us our heart desires and we shall grow and develop ourselves in every way possible.
It's been a great year so far it started on a good note although I was not able to make it to the crossover night because of distance and the time in of getting back home due to the situation of my country we tend to take security in high esteem. In all I was able to meditate and commit my goals and desires into the hands of God while Crossing into the new year.
As we all know, a common tradition especially for Nigerians is to prepare special delicacies on this special day because it is a day that ushers us into a new and fulfilled here. For me and my family we chose to make a special delicacy called fried rice with chicken mixed with different kinds of veggies and fried plantain at the side. We woke up a bit late but we had gotten all our ingredients ready and all we needed to do was to prep them before the cooking began. All of these preparation didn't take more than 2 hours to prepare, it seems complicated but when you have your ingredients prepped and ready it will definitely be easy.
As you can see from the various pictures above it was a nice meal taking alongside a soft drink. I had my meal together with watching the episode 7 of season 5 Stranger Things movie.
In all, I wish us us a Happy and a prosperous new year, cheers to a new and wonderful year.
